Question one:

I need help! The website I made has been banned! It is lots and I cannot seem to find it anywhere its not in Google, not even in AltaVista. For 3 years, I’m using all the great ideas you have written in your newsletter and those posted on your website. I have always ranked number 3 or 4 on the SERP of Google, but as of this moment, I cannot find my website! What do you think I should I do?

It is important to note that websites just don’t get banned, they may be penalized for a month or two but never banned.

It is also a good idea to send an email to Google for information on whatever happened on your website provided they have that information. For the email it should contain all the pertinent information regarding your website, the changes you have made, even those things that you should not have done. Be polite and straightforward.

Is search engine optimization writing the only thing worth considering to achieve a high rank in Google and the other search engines?

There is more to SEO than writing though it may have a major contribution, there are other factors such as inbound links, keywords, meta tags and the structure of the site itself.

Question number three:

What advantage do site tracking, measuring and analysis, give us if we decide to implement such things in our website?

Results tracking will give you an idea as to the web-surfers habit like the actual time spent on the page, which page they have checked and where they will likely go. Thus this may lead to an actual sale making it a real closed loop verifying system.

Question number four:

I already have a good idea as to how my prospective customers will search in order to find the products and services which my company can offer, why must I research the keywords and key phrases of my company? Key words and key phrases when properly researched will give an idea what the actual keywords the customers are inputting. They may also reveal new target groups which you have never known before, that could expand your business opportunities with.

Question number five:

Our company is already the best and the leading expert in our industry. How can SEO and a search engine marketing campaign improve our position in the search engines?

Search engine marketing is a continually evolving thing also all search engines does not care what your products are or how big and successful your company is but at what your website’s contents are telling the search engine about your product. An SEO program will greatly increase you standing in the search results.

Question number six:

About 7 months ago I have registered my domain name in so doing my site is now been online for around 5 months and somehow I just can't get into Google as well as the other major search engine. I did try to submit my domain at the very least 6 times to Google, being careful as you follow your advice not to re-submit too often, is it normal why I'm not listed though my domain is more than 5 months?

That is not normal. You should check if the domain name you bought under the former owner have abused the search engines before by going to www.archive.com and use the Way Back Machine. If there is indeed an occasion of abuse, write to Google about the situation and explain to them that you’re the new owner of the domain. You should also try to link with other sites point to yours.

Question number seven:

The marketing and sales section of our company did invest a lot of resources in order to rank well in the search engines but somehow our competitor is still on top. Will re-writing all over again help? No, there are certainly other parts that can be better optimized but not the whole web site.
